Mission Statement: A man does not die as long as one of living person remembers him.

This memorial project has been proposed by Larry Pismenny and his friends to celebrate the memory of a great man, jazz musician, trombonist, pianist and vocalist, Viatcheslav Nazarov. As time goes by since the time of his passing, January 2nd, 1996 there is a need to remind people of his talent through a video, audio, pictures and words.
We intend to collect video, through a film footage, audio records, pictures and stories from his friends and fellow musicians. The project will include the issuing of videotape (or tapes), audio CD (or CDs) and audio tapes. All of these parts of the project will be addressed an audience world wide.
Currently we have collected some video footage shot both in the USA and abroad. The following retrospective interviews have been videotaped by Larry Pismenny, Peter Nikhamkin and Larry's daughter Arina Pismennaya.
