Viatcheslav  Nazarov

Memorial page

This page is a tribute to my friend and effort to preserve the memory of Viatcheslav  Nazarov, Russian musician who died in a car accident on January 2, 1996 near Denver, Colorado. He left us forever at age of  43. Hundreds of his friends in Russia, USA and other countries cannot forget this great man ever met him. Thousand of jazzmen all over the former Soviet Union and listeners in jazz festivals in Paris, Bombay, Prague, Helsinki loved his performance.

We are still in the process of collecting records of Slava's performance
in audio and video, his pictures and reminiscence about this extraordinary jazzman. It is called Viatcheslav  Nazarov memorial project. We have shot retrospective interviews in New York, Moscow and Ufa (Russia) and even Bangkok, Thailand. Some private persons
and organizations support us with raw video footage and musical records of Viatcheslav  Nazarov.

If you, visitor of this page, are able and wish to take part in this project with your embers, photo, video and audio materials, or just make donation, contact us mail2pismenny
